Bridge to Play is a non-profit organization created by a group of high school students in Montgomery County, Maryland, dedicated to helping more underserved youth play sports. Our mission is to provide access to sports opportunities to all children, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. We believe that playing sports can help children build confidence, develop important life skills, and lead to a healthier lifestyle. We work with schools, community centers, and other organizations to provide equipment, funding, and access to children in need. Join us in our mission to help more kids have the chance to play!

Created by a group of high school students from Montgomery County, Maryland, in 2024, Bridge to Play is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping underserved Maryland youth play sports. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of their financial situation or other barriers they may face. Our organization was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate local teens who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children in their community. We partner with schools, community centers, and other organizations to provide equipment, funding, and access necessary to those who might not otherwise have the chance to play. Our goal is to help children build confidence, develop important life skills, and lead healthier, happier lives through sports.
Our community outreach method is primarily through organizational grants. Whether that is funding to purchase new equipment, or providing funding to cover registration for those who can't afford it, we work with different organizations and provide funding.
